Housing Case Manager Position

At St. Francis Center, we are committed to providing comprehensive services to individuals experiencing homelessness. We are seeking a skilled Housing Case Manager I to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:- Case Management: Provide case management services to a small number of housing residents in a permanent supportive environment. This includes ongoing meetings, securing benefits and resources, providing transportation, and problem-solving.
- Clerical and Supportive Activities: Assist the Case Management team with clerical tasks, including entering services into data base platforms and benefit applications.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least one year of experience assisting individuals living in poverty or experiencing homelessness.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with residents, engage them in activities, and create a positive and supportive environment.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational ability and capacity to set and hold positive behavioral expectations for residents.
- Cultural Competence: Willingness and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with various lifestyles, sexual orientations, ages, genders, and disability status.
- Advocacy and Collaboration: Ability to establish supportive and effective relationships, advocate for residents' needs, and collaborate with community service providers.
