About the Role

Housing Connector is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our efforts in the Denver Metro area. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving transformative change in housing security and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance housing security and operations in the Denver Metro area.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of Housing Connector in the Denver Metro area, ensuring efficient and effective functioning.
  • Team Building and Development: Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team to support the organization's mission.
  • Market Expansion: Grow the presence of Housing Connector in the Denver Metro area by recruiting and onboarding new property partners and building awareness with nonprofit partners.
  • Fundraising and Financial Management: Attract private, public, and governmental funding for future operations by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage strategic relationships with property partners, nonprofit partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Customer Experience: Create outstanding customer experiences for property and community partners.
  • Cultural Competence and Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and ensure that practices and programs are accessible and relevant to the communities served.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is a plus, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve clear strategic goals and provide visionary leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of success in securing funding and managing finances within a nonprofit or similar environment.
  • Strong aptitude for business-to-business sales, stakeholder management, and team building.
  • Established connections in the Denver Metro and surrounding area, with exceptional interpersonal skills to build and manage strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, and developing effective teams, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to navigate and resolve crises, maintain stability, and drive solutions that align with the organization's mission.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a proven ability to create an environment that is actively inclusive for all.
  • A relentless pursuit of the optimal customer experience, with curiosity and a growth mindset that drives continuous improvement.
