Position Overview

Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in providing comprehensive support to the Vice President or Chief Nurse Executive. This position encompasses a variety of secretarial and general office responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Calendar Management**: Effectively coordinates schedules, organizes meetings, and arranges travel logistics.

2. **Communication Skills**: Utilizes exceptional customer service and critical thinking abilities to manage incoming calls professionally.

3. **Visitor Engagement**: Greets and directs visitors and business partners, ensuring a welcoming environment.

4. **Meeting Representation**: Attends meetings on behalf of the executive, providing valuable representation.

5. **Information Management**: Maintains and updates essential documents, including departmental files, policies, procedures, and safety manuals.

6. **Confidentiality**: Handles sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

7. **General Office Duties**: Performs various office tasks to support daily operations.

8. **Research and Correspondence**: Engages in reading, researching, drafting communications, and analyzing information to proactively address challenges.

Administrative Tasks

Prepares and processes a range of documents, including expense reports, purchase requisitions, disbursement requests, and travel authorizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of secretarial experience is required.
