About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and food products to our guests, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide quality customer service and food products using standards set by Dairy Queen to enhance the customers visit.
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist with and learn restaurant management responsibilities, including managing staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in restaurant management and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager required and successful completion of Dairy Queen certified training program.
  • Skills: Possession of Food Handlers Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required), flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • Other: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
