Role Overview

REI Co-op is dedicated to empowering individuals to explore and enjoy the outdoors. As a Sr. Store Sales Specialist, you will be the face of the Co-op, interacting with customers and members daily to provide exceptional sales and service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare the store for sales, including stocking, coordinating the stocking process, and handling merchandise.
  • Adjust visual presentations to reflect inventory levels, new products, and promotions.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, price accuracy, and product stock levels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Partner with Department Managers to achieve sales goals and daily expectations.
Requirements
  • Retail sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Open availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
