Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the CFO and senior management, playing a crucial part in the financial strategy of the organization. This position offers a clear trajectory for advancement to a managerial role in the near future.

About the Organization

We are currently engaged with a global manufacturer experiencing significant growth, both through organic means and acquisitions. To support this expansion, we are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to enhance our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and present comprehensive reports and analyses covering sales, production, and pricing metrics.
  • Manage inventory for finished goods, raw materials, and spare parts, including reconciling material discrepancies and overseeing periodic counts.
  • Analyze productivity, assess capacity, and evaluate capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Work in tandem with Production and Quality teams to establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and deliver monthly presentations to the board, while actively engaging in budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly financial projections.
  • Support operational management and collaborate with key departments across the organization.
  • Participate in financial modeling to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Assist procurement teams by identifying process enhancements, planning for demand, and engaging in contract negotiations.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, manage commission and sales reporting, and oversee weekly cash forecasting.
  • Facilitate weekly cash ACH payments and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Engage in ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects as necessary.

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory analysis is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of Job Costing and Pricing methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
