FP&A Senior Analyst

The FP&A Senior Analyst role is pivotal in managing a range of financial responsibilities related to planning, analysis, and reporting. This includes regular updates on financial performance, forecasts, the annual budgeting process, and the 5-year strategic plan, alongside providing financial support across various business functions such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of the 5-year plan, budget, and forecasts at both P&L and balance sheet levels, ensuring accurate submission through corporate reporting tools and preparing presentations for senior management.
  • Generate specific reports on net working capital, focusing on receivables and payables for budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare reports for capital expenditure tracking and forecasting.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of current financial outcomes, highlighting variations against forecasts, budgets, and prior year results through detailed explanatory analyses, and assist in preparing presentations for senior management.
  • Contribute to the month-end closing process by providing necessary information related to pricing, volume, mix, and other revenue and EBITDA variations, as well as balance sheet fluctuations for cash flow reporting.
  • Oversee net pricing control for the USA entity by customer and product hierarchy, and in specific instances by brand/SKU (Gross Price, Rebates & Net prices).
  • Assist the FP&A Manager in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of financial systems and reports within planning repositories, primarily focusing on inputs for corporate reporting tools.
  • Prepare internal reports (e.g., sales mix and margin) to monitor, communicate, and drive actions with senior management.
  • Utilize Excel, Business Intelligence, and BH1 software to generate, manipulate, and summarize data, effectively communicating findings and analyses with finance and operational teams.
  • Participate in project approvals (customer business case/project valuation) alongside the sales team to ensure financial model KPIs align with financial requirements while securing necessary approvals for compliance.
You bring these skills, experience & education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in corporate FP&A.
  • Proficient in calculating comprehensive profit and loss forecasts and balance sheets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel, including advanced analytical functions such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP, nested functions, complex pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience working with data, creating financial models, and generating ad-hoc reports, preferably using MS Power BI or Qlikview.
