This position allows for remote work from the East Coast, with occasional business travel required for meetings and project discussions.
Bilingual Requirement:
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential, as the successful candidate will interact with business partners in China.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and sustain robust client relationships, serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries.
2. Collaborate closely with the business development team to address client needs, resolve issues, and guarantee outstanding service delivery.
3. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities to manage project challenges and fulfill customer requirements.
4. Identify and nurture new business prospects and opportunities within relevant sectors.
5. Work in tandem with Project Managers and Business Development Teams based in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
6. Ensure effective communication between project managers and business development teams located in the PRC and the U.S. office, maintaining alignment on project updates, client needs, and strategic objectives.
7. Act as a bridge between U.S. and PRC teams to foster a unified approach to client relationship management and business growth.8. Participate in cross-functional meetings and strategy sessions that involve both U.S. and PRC teams, contributing to the formulation of cohesive strategies for client engagement and expansion.
9. Support the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives by completing assigned tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in client relationship management, account management, or project management.
2. Strong background in the manufacturing sector, particularly in power tools, electronics, or related industries.
3. Proven track record of establishing and maintaining productive client relationships that drive business growth.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
5. Self-driven and adaptable, with a strategic mindset and the ability to recognize opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
6. Flexibility for remote work with the capacity to travel for client meetings on a monthly basis.
