Retail Bank Branch Manager

As a key figure in driving the success of our retail bank branch, the Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role is instrumental in achieving organizational goals and maintaining the branch's reputation and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee performance and enhance customer experience
- Develop and mentor team members
- Manage finances and ensure compliance
- Build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities
Essential Functions:
- Build and maintain customer relationships to promote Bank's products and services
- Maintain cost efficiency and quality of customer service
- Manage and grow a book of business through partnerships with business partners
- Understand and communicate the features and benefits of all products and services
- Participate in community activities to reflect favorably on the Bank
Ancillary Functions:
- Lead and delegate tasks among assigned staff
- Conduct annual performance reviews and provide coaching and recognition
- Communicate clearly among teams and assure all team members have the necessary tools and information
- Administer personnel policies and procedures
Competencies:
Clearly communicates in English and Spanish is helpful;
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills;
Thorough knowledge of banking operations, policies, and procedures;
Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all retail bank products and services;
Thorough knowledge of current banking regulations;
Demonstrated management and supervisory skills;
Moderate PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Requirements:
A B.S. or B.A. degree in Business, or a related field, normally required; specialized retail banking education and training. A minimum of five (5) years' related experience normally required.
