Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Tech to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will provide supervision for our clients and ensure their safety while building a rapport with them. This includes providing assistance to each client in working with a group and in handling individual problems, setting limits for behavior, creating documentation of the clients progress, and identifying the possible need for professional services and communicating such findings to professional staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision for clients and ensure their safety
  • Assist clients in working with a group and handling individual problems
  • Set limits for behavior and create documentation of client progress
  • Identify the possible need for professional services and communicate such findings to professional staff
  • Facilitate residential daily schedule, including participating in and providing support to residents
  • Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in company vehicle
  • Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned documentation
Requirements
  • H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling or sociology preferred
  • Prior work experience in other behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving the company's vehicles
