Job Summary:The Behavior Intervention Specialist II will be responsible for assessing, developing, and monitoring behavior support plans and services for individuals receiving services within our Residential, Day Programs, and/or Community Support Services Programs. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral analysis and a commitment to providing high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement behavior support plans that address and modify challenging behaviors
- Provide regular and routine staff training on behavior management and support strategies
- Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive support services
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support plans and make recommendations for improvement
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field
- National Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families
- Strong understanding of behavioral analysis and support strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
