Position Overview

As the Capacity Planning and Scheduling Process Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the consistency of our Capacity Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Scheduling processes. By integrating inputs from product line teams, sourcing, manufacturing, master scheduling, S&OP, and capacity readiness teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing a process that aligns with our production objectives, ensuring the creation of stable and feasible production plans.

Your role will involve overseeing material processes and systems, as well as managing the updates to production schedules. You will strive to maintain operational alignment with production objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), which includes reporting and disseminating production plans. Your responsibilities will encompass the development, implementation, and enhancement of a process that manages diverse data inputs, yielding a standardized view of relevant capacity and readiness information for informed decision-making. This will include both Rough Cut Capacity Plans and Key Resource Capacity plans for engine and spare parts divisions.

As a vital member of the S&OP core team, you will focus on supply capacity data, master scheduling, and standard work management. This entails establishing and implementing standards, leading improvements, and executing the monthly S&OP Supply cycle. You will work closely with Supply Chain representatives across all product families to support Rough Cut Capacity inputs to S&OP.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties
  • Generation, validation, and maintenance of Standard Work
  • Standardization of Rough Cut Capacity Processes and management of constraints within the S&OP framework for informed decision-making.
  • Leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource needs, risk, and complexity.
  • Defining business processes, including opportunities for continuous improvement, utilizing lean facilitation techniques.
  • Ability to excel in a matrix organization to achieve long-term project objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex information and negotiate primarily within the organization to influence perspectives and actions.
  • Engage with Supply Chain, Product Operations, and Digital Technology, presenting information clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in materials, planning, scheduling, procurement, or related supply chain fields) + at least 5 years of experience in materials, planning, scheduling, procurement, or related supply chain roles
