Account Executive, Biopharma, Northwest Territory

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team in the Northwest region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our biopharma customers in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at biopharma companies, including thought leaders in the Next Gen Sequencing space.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in genetic analysis and Next Gen Sequencing, and use this knowledge to effectively consult with customers and influence key decisions.
- Utilize CRM systems and other designated IT tools to manage sales processes, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans that meet or exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in Life Science, with capital equipment experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing and genetic analysis.
- Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role.
- A Master's or PhD degree in a related field.
- Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.
