About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team at 10x Genomics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on biopharma customers. Your technical expertise in Next Gen Sequencing and ability to build strong relationships with key thought leaders will be essential in influencing customer decisions and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with biopharma customers, understanding their scientific and business needs.
  • Utilize product and application knowledge to successfully conduct selling presentations and drive sales growth.
  • Manage sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through CRM systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience in Life Science, with a strong background in Next Gen Sequencing.
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role.
Preferred Skills
  • A Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.

At 10x Genomics, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a base pay range of $110,000-$148,000 USD, equity grants, health and retirement benefits, and an annual bonus program.
