Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the sales and marketing department in optimizing revenue and bookings for the hotel.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems on all accounts, including complete files on each active, prospective, or buying account, and trace files for future activities.
  • Correspond with prospects and clients, answering any questions about the hotel's venue options, rates, room types, packages, or promotions.
  • Send proposals and/or invoices accurately, timely, and professionally.
  • Perform research functions on competitive hotels, venues, clients, trends, and prospects.
  • Gather and assemble sales collateral and correspond with clients.
  • Enter, retrieve, or reconcile rooming lists, event orders, or other information in customer relationship management systems.

Requirements:


High School Diploma or Equivalent


Experience in administrative functions, telephone, email, and filing systems


Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications


Must speak English fluently and have excellent written and oral communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or


Associate's degree with two years' experience in an administrative role


One year experience in hospitality or


Two years of progressive experience in a hotel environment


Experience with Delphi FDC or Sales Pro


Experience with brand's PMS and sales-related applications


Travel:


Less than 25% travel requirement. Must possess a valid driver's license.


Physical:


Frequent sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities. Handling objects, products, and equipment. Using keyboards and other office computer equipment. Occasionally push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Must communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must observe details at close range.
