Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to end-users within our desktop computing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals
- Install and configure hardware and software, including operating systems and applications
- Manage and maintain desktop computing environment, including software updates and patches
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and PC/Laptop hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SCCM and other deployment tools
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and other Microsoft technologies
- Experience with Apple OS and other mobile devices
