Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Specialist - Advanced Wound Care to manage and enhance the sales of our Hydrofera product line within a designated geographic area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position serves as the primary sales driver within strategic metropolitan regions. The role is performance-oriented, targeting various healthcare settings, with a primary emphasis on Acute Care, Surgical Areas, and Wound Care Centers, while also addressing alternate care sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve or surpass sales objectives driven by key account closures and competitive conversions across the healthcare market.
  • Effectively communicate and utilize clinical and product knowledge in a clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct thorough customer needs assessments and develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders within targeted accounts.
  • Engage with advanced practice clinicians (Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, WOCNs, and Nurses) to influence product selection.
  • Execute the sales process effectively.
  • Implement contracts and penetrate key GPO and IDN awards.
  • Maintain and expand penetration in existing accounts and healthcare systems.
  • Coordinate opportunities effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Plan territory and account strategies, including pre- and post-call planning.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience is required; experience in the Healthcare Industry is preferred, with exposure to wound care and surgical markets being advantageous.
  • Experience in Business to Business sales is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, independent, competitive, tenacious, and possessing high integrity; strategic and passionate team player.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and work weekends or evenings as needed (approximately 25-35% of the time).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics) is recommended.
