Position: Finance Business Partner - Operations & Supply Chain

As the Finance Business Partner to the VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in delivering insights and analyses that drive strategic decision-making and optimize operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Insights: Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide analytical insights that facilitate informed business decisions through comprehensive financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Budget Management: Lead the accurate forecasting and budgeting processes for both OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Engage proactively with various departments and operational teams to support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and cost allocation, providing constructive feedback to validate assumptions.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Utilize existing and emerging accounting systems and BI tools to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Risk Management: Identify both long-term and short-term financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights for risk mitigation.
  • Cost Control: Establish robust controls over costs, capital, and working capital, ensuring effective management of the balance sheet.
  • Financial Assessment: Direct financial evaluations and manage growth initiatives, including involvement in acquisition scouting and integration processes.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all financial results comply with GAAP and communicate any concerns to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience in specialized finance functions such as compliance and procurement.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems, including Google Suite and Oracle.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Italian, Spanish, or Norwegian is advantageous.
