KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and presentation materials for both prospective and current clients, while overseeing public finance negotiated underwritings and private placements.
  • Collaborate with fellow bankers to enhance overall productivity and profitability.
  • Prepare responses to requests for proposals, which may involve liaising with governmental entities to gather necessary data; conducting thorough analyses; and partnering with analytical teams and trading desks for market insights and bond structuring.
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of issuers based on established criteria from rating agencies and prevailing market conditions, while working with analytical teams to assess the necessity for bond insurance.
  • Engage with bond counsel or underwriter's counsel to address legal considerations of financing and ascertain any potential conflicts with legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively seek new public finance opportunities and identify avenues for marketing and enhancing brand visibility for the department.
  • Comply with regulatory guidelines in all business operations.
  • Facilitate cross-selling of services from other departments when applicable.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

The following registrations must be obtained within three months of employment:
  • SIE – Securities Industry Essentials
  • Series 52 – Municipal Securities Representative
  • Series 63 – Uniform State Law Exam
