Location:

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Commercial Finance & Client Insights Manager in Dallas, TX.

(Hybrid Model – In Office – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Position Summary:

Commercial Finance & Client Insights Manager will partner with the Director of Commercial Finance and the VP of Client Management to oversee and steer financial results by driving revenue and profit. This role will act as a strategic business partner to Vixxo's client success team and Vixxo's clients by identifying insights and opportunities that improve operational and/or financial performance and will partner with Vixxo's teams to drive those insights to action. The position will work closely with the client account team(s) to ensure all reporting is accurate, meets the demands of the business, and drives value. This person must be a self-starter who can effectively balance the needs of multiple parties and successfully collaborate with finance, analytics, supply chain, operations, client success, and the client to drive organizational success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Building: Act as a commercial finance business partner to operations and account leadership. Play a key role in analyzing and making critical business decisions and in supporting client relationships. Drive critical account initiatives in support of the overall success of the business as needed. Serve as liaison for budget support and provide data validation for VP of Client Management and VP of Operations.
  • Preparing/Presenting/Actioning: Prepares and presents analytical and/or reporting results for both recurring and ad-hoc requests to clients and internal leadership in conjunction with Finance and Vixxo Leadership. Performs root cause analyses to address business questions and problems and identify performance improvement opportunities. Identifies and follows up on appropriate actions. Actively participates in Client Business Reviews and other key client and internal meetings as an analytical and strategic subject matter expert.
  • Financial Support: Identify, develop, and execute profit improvement actions. Perform volume, cost, and mix analyses to understand underlying profitability/cash performance and drive/execute improvement actions. Coordinate the short- and long-range planning of assigned accounts and forecasting and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely outputs. Perform variance to plan, forecast, and perform analyses for the prior year. Provide support on internal financial calls. Support the client in critical finance needs such as budget development, forecasting, variance analysis, and accrual creation.
  • Client Support: Develops professional and trusting relationships with clients, fostering increased client loyalty and partnership with Vixxo. Uses analytical findings to propose strategies and solutions for clients. Performs trend analyses to uncover patterns in client performance data that guide business decisions and drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Cross-functional support: Acts as a business partner to operations, finance, and client success teams. Plays a key role in analyzing and making critical business decisions and in supporting client relationships. Drives critical initiatives in support of the overall success of the business as needed.
  • Reporting Support: Defines and documents reporting requirements and partners closely with the Business Intelligence and Reporting Strategy teams to automate recurring reports. Proposes and implements reporting enhancements as needed to meet evolving client needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly suggest opportunities for improvement across analytical, reporting, and financial capabilities. Partner with other departments to increase collaboration and communication to promote the more successful execution of Vixxo's business. Support Client Insights organizational activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting operational and financial data. The candidate must be able to self-perform complex analyses of disparate data sets.
  • Ability to visually represent and verbally communicate insights so clients and internal stakeholders can easily understand them.
  • Ability to clearly and compellingly articulate the strategic and tactical implications of analytical findings and Vixxo's value proposition.
  • Experience with P&L reporting (including cost, margin, etc.) and an understanding of advanced accounting principles (accruals, reserves, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in Excel/PowerPoint and experience with BI platforms are required.
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects and Power BI preferred.
  • Ability to create strong cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization.
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical approaches to modeling and solving problems.
  • Powerful executive presence, consistently demonstrating confidence in understanding and describing complex ideas.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
