About OI Infusion Service

OI Infusion provides a comprehensive solution for managing patients undergoing infusion therapy. Our established model supports healthcare providers in launching and maintaining infusion centers, leading to enhanced revenue and improved patient satisfaction. Our management services enable physicians to concentrate on their medical practice while our skilled team oversees all facets of infusion services.

Position Details:

  • Location: Flexible travel may be required.
  • Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Compensation: $24 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit advanced proficiency and clinical expertise within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Support the examination and treatment of infusion patients, demonstrating competence in obtaining vital signs and documenting within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Independently perform essential tasks such as patient check-ins, visit scheduling, and inventory management under the guidance of nursing staff.
  • Assist nursing personnel in acquiring patient orders, office visit documentation, and laboratory results from external provider offices.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Current or anticipated certification/registration (CMA/RMA) within one year of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA), or CPR certification for healthcare providers.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar medical environment.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, or completion of an accredited military medical training program.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Excel.
  • Experience in inventory management.
