Position Overview:


Are you enthusiastic about financial collaboration? As a Senior Finance Analyst within the Global Shared Functions (GSF) team, you will engage directly with various senior executives in the Life Sciences sector.

This role is fundamentally focused on delivering strategic financial partnership, comprehensive analysis, planning, and reporting to enhance expense management and support strategic investments.

As a vital contributor to the finance team, you will act as a bridge between the Life Sciences divisions and our corporate teams, working closely with functional leaders to achieve results. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, a strong relationship builder, and committed to continuous improvement while demonstrating a high level of independence.


Key Responsibilities:


Act as the financial lead and strategic partner for multiple functional Vice Presidents and their teams, gaining a deep understanding of business requirements to recommend and advance critical initiatives.

Oversee the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process by establishing timelines and targets, gathering investment details, creating operating budgets, and developing essential review materials.

Manage the monthly forecasting alignment process within assigned functions, ensuring adherence to budgets; communicating risks and opportunities; adjusting forecasts to align systems with business partner feedback; and formulating mitigation strategies as necessary.

Utilize reports and dashboards to analyze cost variances, develop insights, and share findings with functional partners and divisional stakeholders.

Collaborate with Global Process Owners and Accounting teams to ensure timely fulfillment of business partner requests, providing functional expertise as required.

Deliver financial modeling and analytical support for key projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
Work with leadership and peers to foster knowledge sharing and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
2-7 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence various levels of leadership.
Strong judgment and creative problem-solving abilities, along with expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering proactive solutions to enhance business performance.
Experience with Hyperion Planning, PowerBI, Cognos, or similar systems.
Able to successfully navigate and excel in a complex, matrixed environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is competitive.

This position may also be eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
