Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community Connections Coordinator to join our team at Mount Pleasant Community Church. This role will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of community life and providing support to the Campus Pastor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Volunteer Management
    • Recruit and develop volunteers in Sunday hospitality and groups ministry.
    • Implement standards and best practices in Hospitality and Groups.
  • Connections Process
    • Assist with placement of individuals interested in joining groups.
    • Manage connections process for serving and joining groups.
  • Administrative Support
    • Support Campus Pastor in planning and administration.
    • Execute projects and initiatives on behalf of the Campus Pastor.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Attend staff and department meetings as needed.
    • Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills
    • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Leadership and Management
    • Excellent people management skills.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of recruiting and retaining volunteer leaders.
    • Experience in ministry in a medium to large church setting.
    • Experience in a multi-site church setting is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Self-motivated leader with relational skills.
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace software and database software.
    • Undergraduate degree preferred.
