Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Assistant Operator to join our team at 4over LLC. As a Press Assistant Operator, you will assist the Press Operator and Lead Press Operator in the setup and maintenance of presses, ensuring proper paper sheet sizes and types are verified. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all presses are supplied and fed with required quantities of paper and other consumables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify paper sheet size/type and materials required for each job
  • Assist with managing the preparation of next jobs to be printed
  • Perform press maintenance tasks and cleaning
  • Support the Lead Press Operator by completing tasks as directed to keep the press running
  • Remove waste items for recycling and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, and documents
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards
  • Report workplace hazards to management immediately
  • Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
  • Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately
  • Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • One (1) year's experience working as a Sheet Fed Press Operator (Komori preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
