Senior Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Coordinator to join our team at Insight Global. As a Senior Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Tour, inspect, and service smaller or larger complex job sites around the DMV area to ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
- Report concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met by coordinating, promoting, and conducting various programs and activities related to the safety management system.
- Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures, and recommend corrective procedures.
- Provide recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues and ensure cited issues are corrected within designated time frames.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a safety professional in a construction environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental Applied Sciences or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification.
- OSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hr certifications.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to successfully pass a BC Check.
- OSHA 40hr training plus.
- OSHA 500 certification.
- CHST or ASP certification.
