Job Title: Senior Safety Coordinator - Service and Special Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Coordinator to join our team at Insight Global. As a Senior Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tour, inspect, and service smaller or larger complex job sites around the DMV area to ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Report concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met by coordinating, promoting, and conducting various programs and activities related to the safety management system.
  • Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures, and recommend corrective procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues and ensure cited issues are corrected within designated time frames.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a safety professional in a construction environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental Applied Sciences or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification.
  • OSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hr certifications.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to successfully pass a BC Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 40hr training plus.
  • OSHA 500 certification.
  • CHST or ASP certification.
