Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level support to the Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Job Corps. This role will involve working closely with government personnel, including Executive Directors, Deputy Directors, and DOL staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and edit outgoing documents to ensure accuracy, grammar, and consistency with company style.
  • Draft routine correspondence and develop business documents, such as memorandums and standard operating procedures.
  • Proofread and edit policy and official documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Update and assist with the preparation of relevant policy and program guidance.
  • Develop and track correspondence using the DOL electronic system.
  • Maintain and distribute document templates.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures.
  • Answer phones and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience supporting executive-level personnel in a federal agency.
