Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer to become a vital part of a dynamic project team dedicated to enhancing cloud infrastructure.

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer leverages extensive technical knowledge to design, implement, test, and maintain cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve cloud service issues across various environments including development, testing, and production.
  • Service Management: Oversee cloud services, collaborating with internal teams to ensure system reliability aligns with project needs.
  • Automation: Create scripts to streamline systems administration and monitoring tasks.
  • Performance Analysis: Review monitoring data to provide actionable insights for enhancing system performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Infrastructure Engineers and Architects on AWS design and architecture challenges, assisting in Proof of Concept initiatives.
  • Problem Solving: Work alongside peers to define complex technology or process challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Contract Details

This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Qualifications
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS administration, including expertise in services such as API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail.
  • 5 years of experience deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in both Windows and Linux server technologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with third-party service providers and internal support teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic or similar application server platforms.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) and other DevOps technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies.
  • Experience in fast-paced development environments utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies.
