Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Operations Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, equipment, and controls at a 1.5 million square foot Class A office building in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing mechanical, electrical, and energy management systems, as well as experience with fire protection systems and supervisory duties.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all boilers, pressure vessels, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including cold storage spaces and their associated equipment.
  • Handle maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, motors, generators, circuits, and emergency power systems.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Building Engineer or similar role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing mechanical, electrical, and energy management systems.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
