About The Role

The Building People, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Government Building Operations Manager to lead our construction project management team.

This role involves overseeing the management of various construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective portfolio management, addressing challenges in space acquisition, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, construction, space reconfiguration, tenant outfitting, and project administration.
  • Managing a team of 7-15 trained real estate facilities professionals, ensuring their workloads are managed effectively, and project outcomes are successful.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial/government facility construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and scheduling.
  • Experience developing government project cost estimates and tracking funding.
  • Ability to develop project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera P3-P6.
  • Background investigation clearance (minimum Top Secret) and eligibility for SCI access.
