Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at Gregory Electric Company Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies, proficiency in project management software, and excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

As a Senior Electrical Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee the successful execution of electrical projects, develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

You will also coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution, monitor project budgets and forecasts, review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices, and track project profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Identify and resolve project challenges promptly.
  • Budget & Cost Management:
    • Monitor project budgets and forecasts.
    • Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
    • Track project profitability and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians and foremen, to achieve project goals.
    • Conduct regular meetings to provide updates and address issues.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects meet contractual requirements, company quality standards, and adhere to safety regulations.
    • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and industry standards.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Address client concerns promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders.
    • Maintain detailed records, including contracts, change orders, and project documentation.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
