Job Summary

As a key member of the Front Office team, the Assistant Front Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring seamless guest experiences and maximizing departmental efficiency. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this dynamic individual will oversee daily front office operations, supervise staff, and drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions, including bell/door staff, switchboard, and guest services/front desk operations.
  • Supervise and manage front office staff, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality performance.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all front office policies, standards, and procedures, including credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debts and rebates.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of corrective action plans based on guest feedback and satisfaction results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field may be considered in lieu of experience.
