Our client, a dynamic commercial and residential construction firm based in the Bangor area, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction projects.

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction projects and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from planning to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management roles in the construction industry, particularly within residential and commercial construction.
  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, create schedules, and oversee project teams.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in construction management software programs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and safety codes.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
