Job Title: Social Media Content Manager

Weedmaps is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Content Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and drive online growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
  • Coordinate, manage, and publish high-quality content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels and work with the Community Manager to identify trends, comments, and messages to engage with in a timely manner
  • Track and pull performance metrics (engagement, reach, followers) and assist with analytics reports
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing plans and campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing
  • Assist with monitoring competitor activities and report on industry trends
  • Assist with copywriting and captions for various posts across weekly content
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role
  • Proficient in social media platforms and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate unique content ideas
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
