As the Regional Operations Supervisor, you will be entrusted with the daily management of the Regional Service Hub and the associated wind farm sites.

This role encompasses a dynamic mix of strategic oversight, operational management, financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and a steadfast commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. It is pivotal to the success and operational efficiency of wind service activities in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate growth prospects within the region.
  • Ensure adherence to DWT programs and policies, particularly concerning safety, quality, and documentation standards.
  • Supervise the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance on multi-brand wind turbines following DWT guidelines.
  • Coordinate with site leads, supervisors, field technicians, and engineers for regular reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Manage and oversee all subcontractors and partner contractors to guarantee success on designated sites and projects.
  • Support all facets of site operations, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Expectations:
  • Oversee current business operations.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for local service operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Monitor site expenditures and revenue margins, approving expense reports and timesheets for direct reports.
  • Report all incidents and occurrences in accordance with Deutsche Windtechnik's Health and Safety policies.
  • Drive and inspire continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing energy costs.
  • Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the wind industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a service management capacity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience with GE/Siemens/MHI wind turbine platforms; familiarity with multiple platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in renewable solar energy, particularly in the initiation and operation of large-scale solar projects, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in documenting all processes essential for operating a renewable energy operations and maintenance site is preferred.
  • Experience managing other managers or supervisors is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication abilities are necessary.
  • A proactive approach and high motivation level are expected.
  • Ability to think independently and work autonomously is crucial.
  • Technical qualifications from the industry are preferred.
