Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with town and municipal inspectors to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Finalize project details, including invoicing, closing out projects, and obtaining Certificates of Occupancy.
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager and Senior Superintendent to manage project budgets, construction processes, and overall project stewardship.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work, ensure quality, and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a superintendent on self-storage, industrial, and/or related commercial projects.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability to manage multiple subcontractors and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore, and SharePoint.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
