The Construction Superintendent will play a key role in overseeing projects from start to finish, working independently and supervising a mix of office and field work. Travel is required, primarily throughout central and south New Hampshire, with occasional overnight stays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with town/municipal inspectors, pulling permits, and attending planning and zoning meetings.
  • Finalizing project details, invoicing, and closing out projects, obtaining Certificate of Occupancy, etc.
  • Monitoring subcontractors for projects within the current portfolio.
  • Collaborating with the Construction Manager and Sr. Superintendent on cost estimating, construction process, and overall budget stewardship.
  • Reviewing and inspecting work to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to plans, shop drawings, etc.

Key attributes and skills required for this role include:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a superintendent on self-storage, industrial, and/or related commercial projects.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple subcontractors and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore, and SharePoint.
