The Role

The Senior Manager position within Fidelity Procurement's category management team is responsible for leading procurement initiatives of moderate complexity, typically focused on a single business unit. This role collaborates with business stakeholders to enhance Fidelity's capability to negotiate optimal products, pricing, and contractual conditions. Candidates should have experience working across various business sectors, including technology, marketing, financial services, and consulting. Strong communication skills are essential as this role partners with Fidelity leaders across different divisions to achieve greater efficiency and scale.



The Expertise We're Looking For
  • BSc/BA in business administration or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in sourcing, contracts, vendor management, or product management
  • Proven expertise as a category manager or product manager.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams throughout procurement projects
  • Experience collaborating with leadership
  • 3 years of procurement-related experience, including sourcing, contracting, or related experience in vendor or product management


The Purpose of Your Role

Procurement focuses on identifying and acquiring effective products that support business growth. Senior Category Managers lead sourcing activities and strategically select goods and services. You will engage with both technology and non-technology vendors on significant engagements that align with Fidelity's strategic goals. As a leader within a deal team, you will frequently collaborate with executives, product managers, contract managers, vendor managers, and others.
