Position Overview:

The Project Scheduling Specialist will collaborate with both field and office personnel to develop and uphold project baseline schedules and related documentation for various project teams. As the scheduling expert within our organization, this role will ensure uniformity in our project timelines and provide essential support to our staff. The Scheduler will engage with diverse project teams, acting as the primary scheduler, consultant, or advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently collaborate with field and office teams to generate and present schedule progress reports.
  • Manage multiple projects across various teams simultaneously.
  • Conduct time impact assessments and monitor alterations that influence the schedule.
  • Facilitate project schedule review meetings and participate in other project discussions as necessary.
  • Support field leaders in project scheduling, including strategies for effectively communicating project timelines with subcontractors.
  • Evaluate impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, reporting findings to the project team.
  • Exhibit servant leadership by prioritizing the needs of team members, fostering cooperation and respect.
  • Communicate proficiently with individuals at all levels, promoting open dialogue.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in creating and managing extensive project schedules.
  • Ability to cultivate strong, trustworthy relationships based on reliability and integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing listening, writing, interpersonal, verbal, and nonverbal abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of construction estimating.
  • Familiarity with BIM technology is advantageous.
