We are looking for a dedicated Field Engineer to engage in and acquire knowledge about overseeing job sites for extensive industrial, commercial, multi-family, and institutional projects. The Field Engineer will support Superintendents in managing costs, scheduling tasks, ensuring quality, and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the collaboration of various trades involved in the project.
  • Engage in project inspections and prepare daily documentation.
  • Track work progress and inform the Superintendent of any potential delays.
  • Assist in communication and coordination with local government officials.
  • Support the project punch-list process and ensure the completion of all project tasks.
Qualifications
  • MUST RESIDE IN OR WITHIN AN HOUR FROM MADISON, WISCONSIN.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
  • Up to two years of experience in the construction sector, ideally with multi-family or commercial/industrial projects.
  • Experience in carpentry or other construction trades is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Key attributes include attention to detail, problem-solving skills, reliability, initiative, a positive demeanor, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Competence in using the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
