We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our multifamily construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet design and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site conditions, materials, and labor.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in the construction industry, with a proven track record in multifamily and commercial construction projects.
- Extensive experience in ground-up construction is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and direct a team to maximize performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and determine the most effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other related software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
