Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Establish ambitious targets for the service department and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team. Cultivate a culture of excellence through ongoing performance evaluations and constructive feedback.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to reporting systems and manufacturer standards, maintaining compliance at all times.
  • Productivity Management: Oversee daily technician productivity and manage payroll records to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Review repair orders for accuracy and compliance before warranty submissions.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business through exceptional service.
  • Service Quality: Ensure the highest standards of service repairs to minimize comebacks and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Facility Oversight: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in both work and waiting areas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in automotive service management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Expertise:

  • Thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and service equipment.

Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing a team of technicians and service advisors.
