Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Excellence: Carry out tasks specified in repair orders, including oil changes and safety checks, while ensuring exceptional service quality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Perform oil and filter changes, fluid level assessments, tire pressure adjustments, and lubrication of moving components.
  • Parts Coordination: Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary items.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor for defects or issues, reporting them as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed for accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in training sessions and stay informed about technical updates for professional growth.
  • Presentation: Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean and report any changes in condition promptly.
  • Workspace Organization: Maintain a tidy shop environment and manage dealership tools and manuals responsibly.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or ASE certification preferred.
  • Experience: Background in automotive repair and maintenance is essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in maintaining vehicle systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools, service equipment, and repair manuals.

Certifications:

  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Knowledge Base:
