Title: Senior Controls Engineer

Duration: 5 Months

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, including weekends as necessary.
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of PLC projects.

Required Skills:

  • 0-2 years of experience with Rockwell Control Logix PLC programming; experience with robotic systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to review electrical designs, conduct training, identify gaps, and develop solutions for programming challenges.
  • Provide technical support across various facility areas, including supervising and documenting processes.
  • Experience in controls engineering is preferred, particularly for candidates seeking a senior role.
  • Interact with project engineering teams to develop equipment specifications and design test protocols.
  • Flexibility to work one weekend per month based on project needs.
  • Open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions for project-specific challenges.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and other departments on compliance issues.
  • Document and report on validation activities.
  • Conduct routine testing and project experiments, analyzing data and reporting findings.
  • Perform engineering assessments on new equipment to determine operational settings.
  • Initiate and revise protocols and operating instructions as needed.
  • Conduct investigations and manage change control activities related to equipment.
  • Provide training and technical support within the production department.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new systems and equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing and new systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects for new product lines.
  • Adapt to a clean room environment and perform physical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics preferred).
  • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
