Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, following a 2-2-3 rotation pattern.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is $35, which may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors.

Position Overview:

The Quality Lab Associate will conduct Quality Control analyses in accordance with established procedures, including Specifications, Test Methods, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and relevant Regulatory guidelines, ensuring timely support for production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute analyses in line with client Specifications, Test Methods, and SOPs, adhering to current regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in instrumental analysis using at least three of the following techniques: HPLC, Atomic Absorption, Flame Photometry, ICP-MS, and Polarimetry.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports for all laboratory activities.
  • Standardize solutions and maintain proper laboratory housekeeping as per established guidelines.
  • Conduct analytical testing and release raw materials and packaging components as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout all tasks.
  • Analyze complaint and stability samples promptly, reporting any quality issues to the lab management.
  • Maintain neat and accurate analytical results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional analytical chemistry role.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with laboratory data systems such as Empower, Mass Hunter, LIMS, and Electronic Lab Notebooks.
  • Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment effectively.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations and use a calculator.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions accurately.
