Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Sika AG. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through specified distribution channels, managing the distribution chain, and working closely with architectural salespersons to coordinate the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive growth of commercial, residential, and OEM business through specified distribution channels
  • Manage the distribution chain and work with architectural salespersons to coordinate the entire sales cycle
  • Create and identify new market opportunities
  • Call on end-users, contractors, builders, architects/specifiers, owners, and installers to create a "pull-through" demand
  • Establish and manage key owner relationships and activities within the territory
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports
  • Manage project pricing and provide training and product demonstrations targeted to the needs of builders, architects, contractors, and installers
Requirements
  • Associate's degree, BA/BS preferred, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of five years of sales or related experience in the building materials industry
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiating, organization, and listening skills
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm, customer-driven entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory
  • Computer proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding presentation abilities
  • Valid driver's license in good standing, ability to travel via car, train, and airplane with overnight travel
