Job Summary

As a CT Technologist at AdventHealth, you will be responsible for performing all types of radiographic and CT scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients. You will maintain competency in radiology and CT scan procedures, operate radiographic diagnostic equipment, and transport patients as needed.

Responsibilities

Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed.
Operates all CT scan equipment and transports patients, processes film, and prepares radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed.
Reviews orders and reviews films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologist's interpretation.
Assists with clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology.
Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum.
A minimum of 12 hours of in-service or continuing education per year as well as any additional hours needed to develop the core objectives and goals listed in this job description.
