Radiology Imaging Specialist

Radiology technologists and sonographers play a vital role in the medical profession, utilizing various imaging modalities to diagnose and treat patients.
As a radiology technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
You will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide diagnostic and evidentiary data, and may specialize in modalities such as mammography, CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine.
Sonographers, on the other hand, assist physicians with data images designed to identify issues with internal organs using noninvasive sound waves.
Both roles require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate's Degree from an approved Radiology Technology Program or certificate from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists program.
- Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Continuing Education is required to maintain ARRT/ARDMS certification.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
