Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of radiographic and computed tomography procedures on inpatients and outpatients
• Maintain competency in radiology and computed tomography procedures, including emergency and operating room patients
• Operate radiographic diagnostic equipment, including c-arm equipment, and computed tomography equipment
• Transport patients, process film, and prepare radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed
• Review orders and review films for correct identification before submitting for radiologist interpretation
Requirements
• Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology
• Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum
• National certification by the ARRT
• A minimum of 12 hours of in-service or continuing education per year
