Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for scans of various organs to provide diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radioscopic equipment to produce scanograms and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas.
  • Provide age-specific patient care to neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Maintain and document continuing education requirements as required by AART and CNMT.
  • Complete age-specific education and competency requirements as a registered radiologic technologist.
  • Maintain department-specific educational requirements.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT registry with card on file in Director's office.
  • One year or more of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Adequate capabilities as determined by department administrator.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current NMCTB registry with card on file in Director's office.
  • One year or more of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
