Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, be able to operate radioscopic equipment, and provide age-specific care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for scans of specific organs to furnish diagnostic information.
- Operate radioscopic equipment to produce scanograms and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes.
- Provide age-specific patient care to neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Maintain and document continuing education requirements as required by AART and CNMT.
- Complete age-specific education and competency checklist.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Meets requirements for registry by ARRT.
- Attended an accredited Nuclear Medicine school and/or completed an appropriate training program under the supervision of a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Director of Radiology, or Chief Radiologist.
- Current ARRT registry with card on file in Director's office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current NMCTB registry with card on file in Director's office.
- One year or more as a Radiologic Technologist.
